Design? fiuh....

Many people think that design is hard...But for me, not hard...but the harder part is the idea...and the hardest thing are the client...
Not just design the poster, cartoon, or something like that.
But also, design the system.
That's make sense when designer will be paid higher than ever...
When the client the design is not good enough, they will get insult and it's not good for the performance of designer. Designer need to make sure client satisfy with their job.
Wish the client not really "i want this...i want that...i want something like this...something like that..."
I wish everything go smoothly...
Even though client is really "big thing"...i guess this is the media for learning also... ^^

Your Child Early Development is a Journey

I can blog this not because i already have a child but i got this from my friend and i'm a big sister with one younger big sister and two little sister and brother. What i meant little here is little.They are still in elementary school and kindergarten. I think my mom and dad really want to have a baby boy. that's why when i'm in high school, i have a baby brother...--" 17 years old different make me like his mom...aarrgghh... haha
But, it's ok. I love three of them. ^^

So...when my brother born, i don't think this kind of stuff until today i found this in my friend's timeline. And i knew it's kinda right.

And i still can remember when my brother learn to clap his hand and say "bubu" or ibu or mom...or learn how to sit by his own and somekind like that.

Subhanallah...he can learn everything now...

In a kindergarten he learn about colors and creativity.

I like the way he talks and smile...

It's me who is his sister...maybe my mom think different. Love from mom is bigger tha anyone else. Like my mom to me. ^^

NTUST Graduation Day

One week ago, around Taiwan there is a Graduation Day. Different with another country that graduation day decided by the school, Taiwan government decide the date. So, many universities in the same day held this event. And the date is 8 June 2013. Many friends of mine graduate this year..i'm happy plus sad when i saw them wear graduation emblem and got handshake with president of NTUST.
But, actually this event is just formality. Actually most of my friends haven't got their oral defense yet. That's why the graduation day seems not really good. Not like in Indonesia the graduation day is after our oral defense and also many people use their traditional clothes. In here, some of them use just jeans and sandals. because of summer. haha even though i know indonesia is hotter than here. ^.^

Congratulation for all of you, my Indonesian friends...wish we can meet again someday... your journey in Taiwan might be end here, or start again someday...but your journey in life start now.

Dragon Boat Festival 2013

In Taiwan, once a year there is a festival called Dragon Boat Festival. Many people not just Taiwanese but also International people come to Taiwan to join the festival. held in 9 June 2013.

What kind of festival is it?

Like this one...hahaha
This year dragon boat festival held with more than 200 participants. with 20 people in each group.
And my friends from NTUST also join this event and several Taiwan's media capture the moment because of the uniqueness. Girls with hijab also in the boat. haha except me.
also, in this day we can eat a lot of rice dumplings, sometimes i called it Bacan.

Self-stabilizing Depth-first Search

Another power point presentation I made this semester is about Artificial Intelligence. And I found out a paper that might be useful for crash networking called Self-stabilizing Depth First Search by Zeev Collin and Shlomi Dolev.

I think that this paper quite interesting because if there is a network crash,they can stabilize them self.

This algorithm can be used for election system.

BBM naik... lagi? bagaimana pendapat masyarakat Indonesia di negara lain?

Hari ini ada berita yang menghebohkan Indonesia...BBM naik lagi. DPR sudah menyetujui tentang perubahan harga BBM namun belum mengeluarkan harga pasti. Belum satu jam sejak diumumkannya berita ini, sudah banyak kendaraan bermotor yang mengantri di berbagai pom bensin di Indonesia. Katanya sih...mumpung belum naik harganya.

Hmm...aku teringat ketika aku ikut salah satu mata kuliah yaitu South East Asian Economics yang membahas tentang perekonomian Asia Tenggara. Hampir semua negara dibahas dan entah kenapa pembahasan selalu mengarah ke Indonesia. Mungkin karena mahasiswa Indonesia banyak yang mengambil mata kuliah itu. Apalagi kelompokku diberi tugas untuk menganalisis tentang perekonomian dan kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia. Dosen yang mengajar di kelas itu adalah seorang professor yang memiliki riset di bidang industri asia tenggara. DIa sering berkelana dari satu negara ke negara lain. Yang paling sering adalah Indonesia.

Pernah suatu ketika kami di kelas membahas tentang minyak dunia. Bagaimana Amerika menginginkan minyak dari negara 1001 malam. Bagaimana trjadi perebutan kekuasaan di berbagai negara penghasil minyak. Dan bagaimana harga minyak dunia.

Aku terkejut ketika professor mengatakan bahwa harga minyak dunia begitu mahal namun mengapa harga bahan bakar kendaraan bermotor di Indonesia begitu murah? di Taiwan harga per liter bisa mencapai 35 NT atau sekitar 15.000 rupiah. Sedangkan di Indonesia, harga per liter BBM hanya 4500 rupiah. Ya itu kalau dikurskan sih. Tidak bisa dijadikan patokan. Tapi memang tidak bisa dipungkiri bahwa pemerintah telah memberikan subsidi yang sangat tinggi kepada masyarakat Indonesia. Diberikan kemudahan dalam mebeli bahan bakar dengan harga yang sangat murah.

Big Ferris Wheel in Miramar

Another must go to place is MIramar....
It's just a mall actually but the difference with another mall in Taiwan is that there is a very big ferris wheel there...^.^
You can pay 150 NT if you're a student and 200 NT for regular. Student always have a discount in Taiwan.hahaha *happy

Dream House? Find Inspiration in IKEA

A week ago...i went to IKEA with Alina...actually I've ever been there before with brother Putu one week earlier. But, she insist to go there because wanna find for her office's inspiration although i knew it's just an excuse. The main objective is that she wanna decorate her house in Indonesia after she got married..i guess...haha

So, what's IKEA?

IKEA is a place where you can find inspirations when you wanna decorate your house. With beautiful sets, you will find several things that might become your next house in the same place.

So...I went here to find my dream house. Not house. but decoration inside the house. I'm very happy when I realized most of furniture and decorations there match with my own dream...^.^ Below are the pictures I took when I was there...
