Taipei Flower Exhibition 2013

Just like my post one year ago, this year this event held once more...but have different theme...this year's theme is about tales... the location is still the same...in the Yuanshan Park...

You can visit for free... so don't worry... 

You can go there by MRT and go to exit 1... you will see the entrance of he Yuanshan park...

Miniatures Museum of Taiwan

This museum as you know from the name contains many kinds of miniatures displayed. It located near the Songjiang Nanjing MRT station. You can refer to the map below...

You need to pay 150 if you are students and 180 if you're not... :) ahhh and don't forget to buy a stamp passport for 20 NT. ^^

Many kinds of little things here... the beautifully decorated room miniatures, barbie, tales miniatures, and many other things. I can't describe it very well because too many things there...haha But, to prevent this, I made a video about this museum...check this out... ^^

A New Age of Exploration : National Geographic 125 in Taiwan

Of course...you know about National Geographic, right? the magazine...the channel...the traveler...the animals...etc. Yellow box as an icon..make every person on earth know how it feels when go to one part of the world to another...

At first, National Geographic was as simply as research report by scientist on that era...but soon after that, black and white photograph become popular and National Geographic found that pictures can tell a story... so, then they decided to make photos as their main report. Not stop just at that moment, because at that time, the photos were taken inside. But then, several photographers sent their photos to them and one of them is outside photograph about iceberg in Iceland...that's the story behind why the photos are very colorful...have deep meaning...environmental issues...make people care...and that the same time looks like a scientific report... ^o^

This year, National Geographic turn to 125 years old...and they open exhibition around the world...one of them is in Taiwan. “A New Age of Exploration: National Geographic at 125” is held in Taipei, at Huashan 1914 Creative Park until the end of November. The exhibition includes stunning photos of key moments in the past 125 years, arranged in 8 different themes, including one titled, “Remembering Taiwan”.

There are many things we can learn inside because it's not just the history of Taiwan but also the history of the world from 125 years ago. Also many kind of touching moments captured in many beautiful photos...there is a photo about one boy cry because he lost his 6 sheep die after a taxi driver crash those sheep. After the photos published, the boy is given 7000 USD from the reader of National Geographic. Waow... such an amount... O.o

I also just know that Alexander Graham Bell, the one who invented telephone) is the 2nd president of National Geographic... O.o what an amazing world...hahaha

Ahh...and don't forget to buy some souvenir...many kind of NatGeo things there but in chinese...not english.haha even there are several merchandise we can buy in english version.. :)

Also...don't forget to take a picture in the famous yellow box of National Geographic in the park... ^o^

You can go there by MRT to Zhongziao Xinsheng MRT station....the direction is below. or you can go by bus to Guanghua Electronic Market and walk to there around 500 meters.

Taiwan International Sand Sculpture Competition

Ada satu lagi acara international di Taiwan yaitu lomba bikin patung pasir pantai... ^^

Ini salah satu yang keren banget...karena peserta nya harus bikin patung dari pasar pantai di daerah Fulong Beach dan bertahan hingga 3 bulan lamanya... Bentuknya pun macem-macem... Check this out... ^^

Dragon Boat Festival 2013

In Taiwan, once a year there is a festival called Dragon Boat Festival. Many people not just Taiwanese but also International people come to Taiwan to join the festival. held in 9 June 2013.

What kind of festival is it?

Like this one...hahaha
This year dragon boat festival held with more than 200 participants. with 20 people in each group.
And my friends from NTUST also join this event and several Taiwan's media capture the moment because of the uniqueness. Girls with hijab also in the boat. haha except me.
also, in this day we can eat a lot of rice dumplings, sometimes i called it Bacan.

Pingxi Lantern Festival 2013

14 Februari 2013 yang lalu, ada sebuah acara tahunan yang dilakukan di Taiwan yaitu Lantern Festival... dan karena bertepatan dengan Valentine Day, maka banyak lantern Love ... ^.^
Acaranya sih katanya selalu pindah pindah lokasi ... untuk kali ini diadakan di Pingxi, New Taipei City...

Karena bisa dibilang aku males buat foto karena kameraku yang ga memadai... so, aku rekam deh lantern nya... check it out... ^.^

Taipei International Book Exhibition 2013

Yang namanya penggemar buku... kalo udah kena buku... udah deh... lupa ama yang lain...
Itu terjadi sama diriku waktu ada acara ini... Taipei International Book Exhibition 2013 di Taipei World Trade Center... yang berlokasi di sekitar Taipei 101...

Pertama sih niatnya cuma pengen liat aja...kalo pun beli paling yaaa...1 2 laah... namanya juga mahasiswa pas liburan..bokek euy.. secara beasiswa ga turun waktu liburan Lunar New Year begini...--"

So, Aku n Ncha berangkat ke lokasi naik bus 602 dari kampus...

Sampai disana...mata ku langsung cling cling begitu lihat aksesoris buku kayak begini... tapi sayangnya mahal soalnya impor dari jepang langsung..--"

Ada peragaan pembuatan daur ulang kertas juga lho... kyaaknya sih nih orang dari Jepang... ga cuma daur ulang ternyata ada juga peragaan sablon kertas pake alat tua...

Taipei Gameshow 2013

Para penggemar game pasti suka banget nih sama acara kayak begini...
Semua jenis teknologi game tumpah ruah di acara ini...
Mulai dari PlayStation, Kinect, dsb... Muncul ke permukaan...
Dan berbagai jenis game juga muncul lho...
Acara ini digelar cuma 1 minggu mulai dari tanggal 31 Januari 2013 sampai 4 Feruari 2013 di Nangang Exhibition Centre, Taipei.

This is the entrance ticket.. Kalo student bisa dapet discount setengah harga loh...

Beberapa game yang keren-keren dijadikan satu booth khusus dimana pengunjung boleh masuk ke dalam nya dan main game sesuka mereka... ^.^

Ga cuma itu...pengunjung juga boleh make game teknologi tinggi yang bisa dibilang mahal...hwehehe kapan ya bisa beli XBox...--"

100 Years Before The Birth of Doraemon in Taipei

All of the people in the world, absolutely know who is Doraemon, right?
A cat robot that usually called a squirrel...who helped Nobita who is a lazy boy in his daily life...he came from future 21st century... ^.^

So, last year...Japan held an event called 100 Years Before The Birth of Doraemon... there are soooo many Doraemon figure with Nobita, Sizuka, Giant, Suneo, Degisugi, Dorami, etc.

And this year... Japan sent all of them to Taipei... ^,^

From Dec 2012 until April 2013 will be held 100 Years Before The Birth of Doraemon in Shongshan Cultural and Creative Park, Taipei, Taiwan...

So...I went there with my friends..Alina..Mbak Emy...and Inggi...

Ini adalah satu tempat yang paling aku suka...

Kenapa?
Karena disana ada berbagai macam karya seni memukau...
Mulai dari patung, lukisan, foto, video, musik, dan lain sebagainya...
Bener-bener indah...

Apalagi..waktu aku kesana...kebetulan banget ada Death and Life of Fiction - Taipei Biennial 2012

Sayang sekali...
kita ga boleh foto-foto di dalem pamerannya...
Karena ada hak cipta nya kali ya? dan acara ini cuma 2 tahun sekali lhoo...
Keren banget isinya...

20/10/101 - Dream Parade 2012

Di Taiwan tiap tahunnya ada yang namanya Dream Parade... apa itu?

Itu adalah sebuah parade dimana semua warga Taiwan (mayoritas dari taipei) datang dan ikut serta dalam parade untuk menyambut independence day nya taiwan.

Ada banyak banget orang-orang yang make busana warna warni dan bertemakan aneh-aneh.

tapi ada yang menarik...di dream parade kali ini, pengunjung bisa mendapatkan kalung manik-manik gratis yang dilempar sama bule berkostum.hohoho

Sayangnya...banyak yang buka-buka an lho...--"

Aku aja sampe malu lihatnya...

10/10/101 -- Taiwan Independence Day

Kemarin, 10/10/2012 atau kalau pakai kalender cina kemarin itu tanggal 10/10/101... adalah hari yang bersejarah bagi warga Taiwan. Kenapa bisa begitu? Karena tiap tanggal 10 bulan Oktober (10) mereka merayakan kemerdekaan mereka sebagai sebuah negara. ^__^

Banyak banget kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Taiwan untuk menyambut hari bersejarah ini. Contohnya adalah dengan diadakannya sebuah upacara bendera kayak di Indonesia. Tapi ini upacara nya beda. Bakalan ada performance dari berbagai macam bidang seni. Dan ada parade juga. Sayangnya
